Historic machine shop is a historic, private event venue at the heart of St. Anthony in Minneapolis. The building was cautiously restored to keep the original 1916 architecture intact, while constructing modern luxurious features into its space. Minnesota Concrete Specialties saw cut and removed structural openings for stairwells and trenches and also poured sidewalks and the interior floor. This job took a steady loving hand.
After a quarter-century of effort by city development officials, all buildings in the Grain Belt complex in northeast Minneapolis are now redeveloped and occupied. We removed and replaced deteriorated sidewalks.

Canadian Pacific Building is a 383-ft tall skyscraper. It is the first major post-World War II skyscraper built in Minneapolis. Minnesota Concrete Specialties in-filled floors after escalators were removed to create more office space.
We worked hand-in-hand with the Lifetime Construction team to assist in the remodeling of their luxury health clubs from the demolition of bathrooms, locker rooms and racquetball courts to pouring sidewalks and pool decks. Work had to be performed under a strict timeline to limit down time to their guests.

The University of Minnesota, Twin Cities is a public research university. Minnesota Concrete Specialties dug the footings and erected columns for a new monument sign.
Lionsgate Academy is a Minnesota public charter school serving grades 7-12. We excavated and poured interior footings and sidewalks.
The Emerson Spanish Immersion Learning Center is a two-way language immersion program for native English and native Spanish speaking students serving student Pre-K – 5th grade. We saw cut exterior openings for new windows and in-filled stair openings to create space for more classrooms.
